Securing the Future of Naval Aviation

At Naval Air Station Lemoore in Central California, the Navy is homeporting squadrons of the F-35C stealth fighter jet. A critical milestone in that effort is Military Construction Project P-351, a two-module maintenance hangar with associated airfield pavements. The new facility provides state-of-the-art space for aircraft maintenance shops, crew areas, secure storage, and personnel support.

IntegralRSG ensured that the hangar is modern and resilient. We coordinated Antiterrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) siting requirements under UFC 4-010-01 to establish safe standoff zones, integrate façade protection against external blast threats, and resolve complex explosive safety challenges. Working hand-in-hand with NAVSEA, the Explosive Safety Officer, and the Antiterrorism Officer, our team documented siting and storage conditions, verified hazard divisions, and confirmed compliance with Department of Defense standards.

By navigating ambitious stakeholder expectations and safeguarding project budgets, IntegralRSG delivered protective design solutions that balanced mission readiness, fiscal responsibility, and uncompromising safety. The result is a resilient, future-focused facility built to sustain operational at its premier West Coast jet base.
